PRACTICE LISTENING TO A FEW TOEFL LECTURES USING THE NOTE TAKING METHOD THAT WE REVIEWED  IN CLASS. DECIDE WHEN/IF NOTE TAKING HELPS YOU ANSWER LISTENING COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS

ALSO:  Practice scanning questions before you listen . This will help you decide which types of listening passages can benefit from note taking.  (Those with lists, instructions, sequences, time orders, numbers, dates etc.)
